Hong Kong Senior Education Workers Association Choir
"Enchanted Melodies from the Seniors 2026" Concert
The Hong Kong Senior Education Workers Association Choir will present the "Enchanted Melodies from the Seniors 2026" concert on Saturday, September 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of Tsuen Wan Town Hall.
The concert is themed "Poetic Rhymes Flowing, an Echo that Resounds through the Millennia!" with the aim of promoting traditional culture. Through choral singing and modern compositional techniques, we bring classical texts such as Tang and Sung Dynasty poetry to life with contemporary auditory vitality. This also underscores our choir's mission in cultural heritage preservation. In addition, the programme includes several foreign ancient poems to introduce the literary imagery and emotional depth of international poetry.
For this concert, apart from our long-standing Music Director and Conductor, Mr. Luk Wai-shing, and our resident pianists, Ms. Choi Wai-yan and Ms. Chan Wai-fong, we are honoured to have renowned coloratura soprano Ms. Chan Lai-chun and tenor Mr. Ng Man-fai as guest performers. They will present solo and duet pieces. The choir will also perform a variety of items, including mixed chorus, women's chorus, and men's ensemble, promising audiences a refreshing and memorable musical experience.
Tickets will be available from August 19 via the URBTIX system. Prices are HK$120 and HK$80. Half-price concessions apply to full-time students, persons aged 60 or above, persons with disabilities, and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients.
